With Eq. (2.25), longitudinal or lateral tyre forces as well as the vertical moment can be calculated. The input quantity u can take the values of a longitudinal slip or a camber angle. Both the experimental stiffness coefficient (Sect. 2.2.1) and the camber angle from the numerical simulations were used in the calculations. The remaining coefficients and factors are based on the theoretical values. Chapter 3 comprises a comparison of the systems distinguished by the presence or absence of the pneumatic tyre. On this basis, the assumption on the insignificance of the tyre impact (from Sect. 2.2.1) is confirmed.
